Thats how it all started. Thats what i did everyday when i returned from school. Age 8-13. Rod and wellingtons and then straight ahead to our local lake where the monster pike (i never caught) lured in the murky water.
Now i wish i would go more often. Now and the i visit our lokal stretches of great salmon waters. Spinning and fly fishing.
And for the last few years i have tried my luck -more luck than skills. With the two handed fly rod at the River Dee -Skotland. Going again this august. Ill keep you posted.
